i tried to be cool and write "oh i do like to be beside the seaside" in french as the title. looks pretty cool. but if you translate that back to english it says "oh I like to be next to the sea edge". nice one...
getting very scared about uni interviews. i haven't had any interview dates yet but lots of other people are so i know mine will be soon.
actually, i don't think "very scared" really sums up how i feel. i think "shitting bricks" is more descriptive.
so as norwich have stopped running my visual studies course, i've applied for bournemouth instead. according to my tutor, bournemouth have already declined three applicants from foundation without even giving them an interview, which terrifies me. i know i only applied two days ago as a back up, but i wouldn't mind going there! the beach is nice there. even if i don't like the course i can live at the beach for three years.
being near the sea was something i said i needed to have when applying to universities. i've lived by the sea all my life and i don't think i want to leave. i love being able to walk for five minutes and be at the beach. yeah ok, that would take me to east beach which is a bit shit, but if i walk for twenty minutes i'll be a thorpe bay and that's a bit nicer...
so erm, why have i only applied for one uni that has a beach nearby? norwich, camberwell and maidstone are pretty much dans le ville. no beaches near them. at all. where do you even go on sunny days apart from the beach? a park? you can't swim at a park. and you can't build sandcastles at a swimming pool. bournemouth better give me an interview. i think i want to go there quite a lot.
i'm quite happy to go to any university, if i'm honest.
if i don't get in anywhere, i'm just gunna move to australia for a bit. the beaches are pretty nice there.
sorted.
now, i say that i'm shitting bricks about interviews but i still haven't finished my portfolio. i didn't even take it to college today. silllyyyyyyy. instead, i went through about 45 pages of ffffound.com and went shopping.
i did buy a nice playsuit though.
